My name is Robbie Wild Hudson, I am the eldest of The Wild Swimming Brothers and we are the creators of the Wild Swim Studio.
Calum, Jack and I have been deeply involved with the welcoming, lovable and kind hearted outdoor swimming community for many years. I create artworks inspired by wild swimming. We want to help you bring the joy of wild swimming and the natural world into your home.
Together as brothers we have swum the 90-mile / 145 km river Eden, the Corryvreckan whirlpool, and became the first people to ever swim across the Moskstraumen and Saltstraumen Maelstroms in the Arctic, the largest whirlpools in the world.
We are half Scottish and half English, and grew up in Cumbria. All of us share a deep connection with the wild waters and natural wildernesses of our planet.
The Wild Swim Studio - Artworks Inspired by Wild Swimming
The Wild Swim Studio offers artworks for the wonderful wild swimming community, with each piece drawing inspiration from a different aspect of the simple pleasure of outdoor swimming. We wanted to create a platform for the community to showcase artworks that may be just right for you, your friends and family.
These artworks allow you to bring the natural world into your home and be reminded of why you love the waters of this world and the natural landscapes that you roam through.
We will be continually updating the Wild Swim Studio with new collections in a variety of styles and mediums. Creating work in an assortment of mediums also allows us to provide premium quality artworks for all budgets and needs, to suit the diversity of unique people in this fantastic wild swimming community.
Canvas Prints from The Wild Swim Studio
Canvas Prints are a great way to bring your favourite designs into any room. With edge-to-edge prints and a solid depth, they're great for hanging or setting on any flat surface.
In this canvas print I chose one of my favourite Roger Deakin quotes from his charming book Waterlog. The colours and patterns in the water are inspired by the actual book itself, to capture that magical feeling of wild swimming from one man that understood its appeal exceptionally well.
Each canvas is printed with the latest generation, long lasting Epson archival inks on top quality poly-cotton matte canvas.
Framed Art Prints
We use Alder, semi-hardwood frames from renewable forests to frame the top quality Epson matte paper. The frames are 0.75-inch-deep frame and we made the decision to use premium shatterproof acrylite front protector instead of glass. These artworks are lightweight and easy to hang.
Our Museum-quality art prints are created using thick and durable matte paper. A statement in any room, these printing processes yield vibrant prints to brighten up any space.
To celebrate our launch, we are giving away free shipping for all orders over £50, but hurry because this is only available for a short period of time!
